Our mission is to provide women with the right education, products, and services to become financially successful, and in turn, minimize the impact of any socio-economic barriers limting them. With the ultimate vision of empowering women to pursue and achieve their dreams of financial wellness in order to live life on their own terms.
What is The Financial Appetite?
We’re a network of entrepreneurs, side hustlers, investors, and passive income seekers looking to share experiences and knowledge.
I created The Financial Appetite because I did not see a safe and encouraging place to learn while growing as an entrepreneur. I aim to create a positive atmosphere where wealth builders can test new ideas and explore income-generating opportunities in the marketplace.
I have over 25 years of experience with side hustles, investing, and growing companies ranging from real estate to online business to selling lemonade (see below!).
For most of the last decade, I have used my entrepreneurial skills to lead large corporate media companies in sales and business development, finding securing, and nurturing key clients. Most recently I was Head of U.S Sales for an international media company.
Recently I retired from the 9-5 corporate scene to do things my own way. As I approach financial freedom, I’d like to share what I have learned and continuously explore new knowledge and financial opportunities from others along the way.
I have built wealth as a child, and young adult, and I have done it while leading Fortune 500 companies in sales and business development and while taking care of my 3 kids. I have great experience failing, which is the most valuable experience to learn from, and I have experience with the fun stuff – the winning, too.

What we believe in.
At TFA, we believe that financial literacy needs to improve. We would like to do our part, so where possible, we will provide definitions and explanations to any financial jargon.
Meet Our Founder
When I was a little girl, I used to wait all summer to visit our summer home, so I could sell ice-cold lemonade when thirsty vacationers got off the ferry in droves.
I’d spend hours on a brightly decorated sign. I’d enlist other neighborhood kids as my employees and instruct them to set up multiple spots near the incoming ferry boats. I’d add paintings I drew, colored shells and any other solid upsells I could find. Some days I’d walk away with 100’s of dollars in my pocket – which would then buy a serious amount of candy!
Fast forward 35 years and I still have that same ferocious appetite for making money. I still love the hunt, the feel of growing something, and the challenge. I’m probably the least materialistic person you’ll meet, but I love options.
If I want to go, do, or experience, I’d like to have the money to live freely in the way I want. Being financially free is about spending the time we have in this short and beautiful life in the most meaningful way.
